Website - Following on from the entry below, the server is now working again, but the backup files used to restore the server by our hosting company were from November 2010. I have just finished a restore of all website files from my backup copy, which I will test tomorrow (As I have been awake for almost 24 hours now trying to get this resolved). I will be bringing the website back online at 04:00, but nothing will have been tested, so if you encounter any errors please complete the feedback form on the main menu and let me know.

The 'Members Area' is not yet ready to come back online as the restoration of video files will take longer. I aim to have the members area back online by Tuesday morning at the absolute latest, although with a bit of luck it will be sooner. All member accounts are currently deactivated and will be reactivated once the members area has been fully restored. All members will receive an automated email informing them that their accounts are active as soon as the restoration has been completed.
Problem Resolved - All 'Members Area' videos and pictures have been restored to the site and everything has been fully tested and is working properly. All member accounts have now been reactivated and you can sign back in again.

Server - The website is currently unavailable. We have been advised by our hosting company that there is a communications problem preventing access to the server. Our hosting company hopes to have this problem resolved shortly.
UPDATE @ 23:00GMT - 11/02/2011 - The server is still down. According to our hosting company, the server is running a 'FSCK' (file system check) and we are to basically 'stand by' until further information is available. More information will be given regarding this problem as soon as we have it.
UPDATE @ 00:54GMT - 12/02/2011 - Our hosting company have advised that there is corruption of data on the server. This may make it necessary for us to re-upload all website pages from our backups. More information will be provided when we have it.
UPDATE @ 10:45GMT - 12/02/2011 - Our hosting company have advised that the server that our website (along with several over websites) is currently undergoing a complete rebuild from their backup files. They predict that this will take at least 24 hours to complete. No doubt after they have finished their restore we will have to carry out a restoration of our own to bring their backup sets inline with ours. More information will be provided when we have it.
UPDATE @ 13:00GMT - 13/02/2011 - Our hosting company continues to try to restore access to the server. The latest update from the hosting company is that they are completely building a new server set up as the previous server suffered a 'catastrophic failure'. The new server is now online, however the hosting company need to finish reconfiguring it so that users can log in/update websites etc. We still do not yet know at this time what sort of state the website files will be in (or even how old the last backup set was that they have used for the rebuild). In the words of the hosting company, we must continue to 'stand by' for more information...
UPDATE @ 20:20GMT - 13/02/2011 - I have just had an email from our hosts who say that they hope to have the server back online properly (so that the website can be viewed) from around 06:00GMT Monday morning (the 14th). They 'anticipate' that there will be a loss of data on the website as they have used their own 'disaster recovery' backups to bring everything back online. Providing the backup that they have used is dated AFTER the 1st of February, then there should be no loss of data for us (as we update the website once a month) - however, if it is an earlier backup then I may have to reconstruct parts of the site from my own backups.
UPDATE @ 02:11GMT - 14/02/2011 - The server is now finally working, however the backup the backup that was used by our hosts for restoring access to the server was from November 2010. Please see entry above for information on resolution.

Website - The website is currently unavailable. This has been reported to our hosting company who will be investigating.
Update @ 09:34 - The website is still unavailable and I am yet to hear from our hosting company. The support request was logged as 'critical' 9 hours ago. Apologies for this rather long and extended down time.
Problem resolved - The site is back online, I finally heard from our hosts at 14:16 and they say that nothing is (or was) wrong their end. I have asked them to continue investigating as it is strange that the site was down for exactly 12 hours between midnight and midday.

Email Services (Specifically Feedback Form) - The feedback form is not currently working. Information that has been input is being lost when transmitted via the email server.
Problem resolved - The problem was caused by the new server running a different version of software to what was installed on the old server.

Server - The server that the website is hosted on is currently suffering from a more prolonged loss of internet access. This is resulting in more or less continuous "The page cannot be displayed" type error messages.
Problem resolved - The server that the website was located on was suffering from major technical problems that could not be fixed. As a result, the website was transferred on to a new server which is more modern, faster and has more than twice the amount of storage capacity than the old server.
